Took a solo ride out the creek trail today. First ride out since the storms blew through earlier in the week.
You could really tell Alameda Creek must've been flowing pretty good. There were even a couple of signs along the way, where it was obvious that the creek had risen to the point where it sloshed onto the trail. Most noticeably where highway 880 crosses the creek. Looked like the water was up that far!
The flamingo is back yet again.
That bird must spend every winter here now. Crazy. The old pink better watch out and hope that some wayward duck hunter doesn't mistake him for a flamboyant mallard! Duck season begins next week! Woohoo! Its always special when bike riders and hunters can share some space.
