Death to Squeaky

Finally put our old dryer out if its misery this week. After thousands of loads of faithfully drying our clothes, the old dryer started to squeak about a year ago. not too bad at first but enough to have the appliance repair guy come out and give it the once over. The guy could never find the root cause for the squeak since it was intermittent and of course would never squeak when the repairman was there. I found out that if I stopped the dryer, opened the door and fiddled with the drum a bit, it would sometimes stop its incessant squeak. It would have been so much easier to just go out and buy a new dryer,
