let the good times roll

This time last year we were knee deep in Fremont City Soccer while the girls were also trying out for the high school soccer team. This year Kelly is too old for City soccer and Kate was nursing her knee from her “scope” during the summer. That gave us a bit of a break but now the fun begins. Kate has been at soccer conditioning and tryouts this week and last in hopes of making the varsity team in her senior year. She was very worried that her lack of conditioning (due to knee surgery) and the fact that some pretty good “freshy” goalkeepers were also trying out.  Pre-Season games start November 18th against Dublin. Looks like we will be spending Thanksgiving weekend at Hayward High School for the Annual Thanksgiving Tournament. Regular season starts December 6 and ends January 31. Happy New year!
