Shull Family to Holy Spirit – OLG stunned
Ya heard it here first folks. In a major diocesan coup, Holy Spirit Church and School has lured away The Shull family after a lustrous 7 year career at St. Leonard\’s (Now Our Lady of Guadalupe School) with reports of a two year deal.
Along with Nick Shull moving into 7th grade and bolstering the boys Basketball team, the school also gets mom Debbie, perennial PTA/school board member and book fair coordinator, as well as Current OLG CYO Athletic director and boys basketball coach, Dad, Al Shull
In what is being described as a stunning loss to the already struggling OLG program, the Shull family moves to the front-running Holy Spirit, where the Spartans will surely capitalize. Details of the deal were not made public but rumors are circulating that in addition to tapping Al Shull to assistant coach in the boys basketball program, the Shulls will also be donating their BBQ grill to the annual Holy Spirit Summer Camp Out. A deal may even be in works to get Al to sing with the church choir. Young Nick has already tried out for the boys basketball team.
