End of Season Soccer Banquet

We had the end of season soccer banquet last night. A great Mexican dinner followed by the awards ceremony.  The team finished 2nd in the MVAL and made it to the championship game. Last seasons record was 2-9. The goal at the beginning of this season was to make the playoffs. They did that and more, finishing 8-1-2. Nice job ladies! They also handed out the team pictures (and buddy pics) that were taken earlier in the year. Check out the photos here.  Kelly was honored as a “Scholar Athelete” and most of the team (including our Kate) was awarded a “Distinguished Scholastic Team” award for averaging a 3.5 GPA during the season.
