….a lot like Christmas

Everyone knows that as you get older, the time goes by faster. Here it is the 2nd of December already, three weeks to Christmas  and I still have our ceramic Halloween pumpkin out front. Time to get on it!There was a day when our house would be one of few on the block that would put out Christmas lights. Now, with many new families with young’ins moved in, the street is coming to life this Christmas season.  I guess we will spend the weekend getting Christmas ready.  To kick off the holiday,  I reached back into the archive for a 2003 shot of the family on the front porch.
