Halloween Memories

Halloween on Fairlawn Ct.  The good old days.  We would go out soon after the sun went down, and stay out for hours.  I never remember parents going with us.   Just tons of kids raiding the neighborhood for treats and tricks. Pillowcases in hand, crappy costumes and all.  Here is a great picture from 1960 in our backyard. Looks like all the Flaherty kids along with next door neighbor Vicky Lorber dressed as hobos.  Anne Marie, Mike and Vicky all look the part. I (the baby) at least have a hobo style nap-sack. John on the other hand looks like he’s just in it for the candy.
