Weekend Dinners

Saturday night we had a great dinner at Brandon’s in Milpitas.  Friends Lorraine and Ron were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and invited all their friends and family. I’d say about 100 people gathered. Many of Barb’s hiking buds were there, along with some ex-co-workers from the Avantek days. It was a great time and a great dinner.

Sunday it was over to the Eacret’s for enchiladas!  Haven’t seen Lisa and Randy for quite a while so it was nice to catch up. They have a super duper sized HDTV and the new (to us) Nintendo Wii. We played some “Mario Cart.”  The “breadman” was dominant and we got our asses kicked on almost every race.  Definite home field advantage there, but still fun!!  Dinner was good. Home made chicken enchiladas, rice and beans, and a couple cervezas. Just the four of us at the kitchen table. It was a nice enjoyable meal.
