Veterans\’ Day
To those that have served, I salute you!
In my 20+ years in the work force I have always been irked that many Veterans, Barb and myself included, who have proudly served their country, have to work on this “national holiday” while many who have NEVER served get the day off. The Holiday should be for Veterans, not postal workers, school kids and bank employees. It’s really a bummer for wartime vets who have to work today. How fair is that? Wartime vets should get the day off and Dinner out on Uncle Sam. Thats the least we can do.
God Bless those who protect our freedom.
