Mission Peak Hike

Got the hiking shoes back on yesterday and decided to hike Mission Peak.  Cold, windy and foggy as we started out at Ohlone College, the higher we got the better the weather got. The recent storm did some damage to the trail. A few downed tree limbs and one huge down tree.  By the time we got to the top it was BEAUTIFUL.  Sunny and warm with no fog.  We decided to have a break and our snack out at the place where the hang gliders take off. Felt good to get back out (up) there.  Afterwards we went to our local Starbucks, sat outside and had a coffee. By this time the fog had cleared and it was a beautiful sunny day in Fremont.
